Tongue Pimples
On my tongue?
I have like a white sore. It's like a pimple on my tongue, I guess is the right way to explain it. I get them every once and a while but I want to know a way to get rid of it, It hurts. and what is it?

- ive always heard of them referred to as "lie bumps" or ulcers. they make a gel that goes over the bump to form a film that dries and protects it. it is the only thing i have found that helps. just check your local walmart.
- Is it a taste bud gone bad? If I traumatize my tongue with too many sweet tarts or pumpkin seeds, I'll get a taste bud that swells and turns white. They can hurt like crazy. It should resolve in a few days. I have been known to dry my tongue and then pinch off the bad bud. It feels better withouth the sore bud hitting everything I eat.
- I think it's just a canker sore. It only becomes a bump because that's how the texture of your tongue is. The best way to get rid of canker sores is to rinse your mouth with salt water, or, if you want an even faster job done, and can stand the taste, use apple cider vinegar.
