I've got this contagious skin condition that causes little bumps and pimples on the skin. What is this?
Doctor said just to use antibacterial soap. Soaping up mutliple times a days doesnt help get rid of it. Its spread to my new girlfriend now. He skin was super smooth when I met her. What is this? Its not scabies, I know that. It must be a bacteria, virus or fungus? Sometimes I will get these really itchy red swollen bumps, then it will turn into a pimple. Or just pimple like white heads. Never had acne problems before and I get these all over my body. I'm getting little pimple like sores on my tongue too. Doctor so far has been no help. I want to get rid of this! Does anyone know what this could be and how to get rid of it?

- Sounds like a fungal infection, check your home for surfaces that may contain it, like the shower, or any other place that gets warm and damp, and perhaps use some antifungal cream.
- You need to see a dermatologist. Your doctor is obviously of no help. Get the right help b4 it gets n e more serious. Take care
- sounds like staph to me, go back to the doc get a second opinion
- I don't know who said it isn't scabies, but I'm pretty sure it is and if you don't treat it right away it will keep spreading. It looks a lot like athlete's foot but can be anywhere on your body. The treatment is simple and one application does the trick. You have to wash everything in hot water (bedding, towels, etc.) to make sure it doesn't come back.
- Could be impetigo. It's a skin infection. If it is, the doc is right. Cleanliness is the tx. But if it is persisting, get another opinion. Never heard of it spreading to a tongue.
- maybe you have bedbugs
- It's probably a fungal thing. There are treatments for this but don't waste your time with over the counter, go see a doctor for some good stuff.
