Tongue Pimples

Bumps on tongue?

When I woke up this morning my tongue had alot of these little bumps on it. They're like redish and they get irritated when something touches them. It's not exactly painful...it's just really uncomfortable. And most of them are at the front of my tongue. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Could it be a nervous reaction to something? Should my doctor take a look at it (I don't think it's anything serious though.) One more thing, is there anything I can use to make it go away quicker?

  1. is your tongue white? it can be thrush, which is a yeast infection on your tongue. Call your MD to find out, especially before it gets worse.
  2. Could be mouth ulcers. There are plenty of otc medicines for that, try them first and if they still do not clear up or begin to get worse go see a doctor.
  3. Get Hydrogen peroxide and rinse your mouth out 3x a day DON'T swallow the peroxide it should clear it up
  4. How is your stomach doing. Sometimes you can get those bumps if your stomach is upset.
