- they are your tastebuds...seriously haha. sometimes things make them look WAY bigger than they really are. its nothing serious, i wouldnt worry about it. haha =]
- sour candy activates those taste buds :)
- sounds like thrush you need to go to your doctor to confirm so he can give you medication if it is.
- most of the time there called acid blisters, when you eat too much candy or soda you get these bumps, if they break open they most likely will turn into a cold sore
- If there are about 6 to 8 of these bumps, all about the same size, lined up across the back part of the top of the tongue, these most likely represent circumvalate papillae. These are normal anatomical structures that have been there your entire life. Most people don't examine this area carefully because it is so difficult to see back there. If the bumps don't look like the description that was given, then you should be seen by an oral pathologist.
- It is probably just your body reacting to the candy. if you had been eating the candy for at least the last hour and half or all day then your mouth is just reacting to the alkaline or sourness. i am just hoping iit is not a allergic reaction. drinking a glass of milk usually helps
- do they hurt? It's probably irritation(inflamation) by the acid. They usually go away within a week.
