Tongue Pimples

Pimples on the tongue?

It doesn't hurt or anything while you eat. It has lasted for about 3-4 weeks now. It's probably an allergy problem... does coughing have anything to do with it? [that has also last for 3-4 weeks now]... we did go to the doctor, but he said it was bronchitis... gave medicine and anti-biotic.. but the cough and the pimples still won't go away... what could be the problem? Lungs seem fine too.

  3. As superstition goes.... a pimple on the tongue means that you have told a lie! So stop telling lies!!!! Then it will go away!
  4. Go and see a doc ASAP!!!!..
  5. My son had something like what you describe, a white pimple on his tongue. Our doctor called it an enlarged taste bud. It didn't interfere with eating, and didn't hurt. It eventually fell off.
  6. i have got somethin like that goin on with me at the moment...mine has been for about three months tho..went to two docs they said it was nothin..it got so bad i went to the ER one night...he said that it was probably allergies..he gave me an over the counter prescription to i think, its called loratidine..its only like $2..or you can get claritin. Not sure if it works b/c i just found out i was pregnant so i havent took any of it..but i would try that! Coughing could have somethin to do with it b/c he said i had some dripping of fluid comin from the back of my throat as well from the allergies..so id say coughing could iritateyour tounge as well.
  7. is it a young tongue? all those raging hormone
  8. Did you have these bumps before you went to the doctor or after? See, the only thing that I can think of is that you said you were put on antibiotics, right? There are some people that can get yeast infections from the use of antibiotics. Most often they are down below, but I know that I have had one in my mouth before from taking Penicillin. Although I do remember that my mouth was sore and the bumps were not restricted to my tongue. I would definately talk to your doctor again or see a different doctor. There has to be something going on other then bronchitis. I can understand the lasting cough, but you shouldn't have these things on your tongue. I'm not sure that the two are related at all. I would call the Dr. and soon. Have a good day.
