I have some raised red bumps on the back of my tongue?

What are these red bumps on my tongue and if there is a problem with them what medicine can i take for it? Thanks.

1. They may be irritated taste buds. In that case, you'll be fine as it is a natural feature of the tongue. However, it might depend on what part of your tongue you're talking about as well though and how big they are.
2. I suspect you've just discovered that humans have circumvallate papillae on their tongues.
3. Well, If You Have some Hydrogen Peroxide and you swish it around your mouth the bumps will go away gradually.
