Can drinking beer cause painful bumps on the tongue?
I sometimes get painful bumps on my tongue that I notice a few hours or days after a beer drinking session. So what is up with that? Is alcohol known to cause this?

- they are probably lie bumps from all the stories you tell at the bar....no just kidding, i've gotten them when i drink to much, but maybe you could have some kind of allergic reaction to an ingredient
- My hubby sometimes got them, and around his lips inside as well... He noticed it was usually when he drank a different brand than he's used to, so it is probably some kind of allergy or sensitivity. He now has one favorite brand that he usually sticks with.
- No those are an STD you got from the hooker you picked up while drunk.
- Allergic reaction, if I drink a lot of beer I will start to wheeze & my face turns red but what the hell, you only live once!
- I HAVE HAD THEM TOO, I THINK IT IS ACID REFLUX FROM YOUR STOMACH.
