ever get swollen taste buds or like a blister on ur tongue? wat causes this? i was told that u might get one from burning ur tongue with hot food??????

- that happens to me when i drink coffee to fast or just a big sip. you most likely burned your tounge! :] peace.
- Yes, it happens. Sometimes the tastebuds get irritated or over stimulated and yes, it can happen from hot food or drink.
- Yes, but I don't know what causes it - I didn't burn my tongue so that's not it! maybe a virus or eating very acidic foods?
