- While I'm not a doctor (yet), I can tell you that your symptoms are not characteristic of strep throat. I highly recommend seeing a doctor. However, if I had to venture a guess, I would be more inclined to say you have glandular fever (mononucleosis), but again, I don't know nearly enough about your symptoms to have any degree of certainty. If you are taking amoxicillin, and these symptoms presented after starting your amoxicillin course, then that would be further indication of mono. But again, it could be something totally different, I just don't know enough to say anything conclusive.
- If you are on antibiotics, you may have a secondary yeast infection, or "thrush" on your tongue. The ulcers sounds like cold sores, or herpes simplex. It could just be that you are immunocompromised right now because of everything that's going on. Some people get cold sores when they are under stress, it's a viral thing.
- The ulcers are cold sores, and the white bumps are probably yeast. Go to the doc, please.
- THE ULCERS COULD MEAN YOU HAVE AN INFECTION RAGING THROUGH YOUR BODY AND YOUR BODY IS TRYING TO GET RID OF IT.WHERE AS THE WHITE BUMPS ON YOUR TONGUE COULD BE ORAL THRUSH.GO TO DOCTORS,HE WILL PRESCRIBE ANTI-BIOTICS.
