Sore bumps on the side of my tongue (after I eat)?
Does anyone know why this occurs? I always get these small sore bumps on the side of my tongue after I eat. I did not test for any diseases in the past year and I'm just concerned if this was natural. Thanks!

- Maybe you bit your tounge. I get that sometimes. I always think it's a sore throat, but it's not, it is just very close to my throat. Or you could have burned it, I do that all the time.
- Do they show up after you eat or are they always there? If they are always there you should consult your dr. If not, then maybe you eat your food too hot and they are blisters. It is also possible that if it only happens with certain foods you could have a food alergy. These are only things to consider mind you so if it keep occuring and you cant find the source then talk to your doctor to make sure that there is nothing there to be worried about. Alergies can start up at any age too so dont be surprised if you are a bit older and this is new to you. I did not develope alergies until I was 25. Good luck. I hope I have helped.
- These sound like inflamed taste buds. I get these sometimes after eating very acidic foods. The remedy is rather odd, but effective. If you sterilize a pair of nail clippers with rubbing alcohol, you can nip off the affected bud. It will bleed a tiny bit, but it relieves the pressure which is why it hurt.
