Tongue Pimples

When your pregnant does your mouth and tongue get sore? Like a raw feeling?

I think I am pregnant and lately I have noticed that my mouth is SO sore. The roof of my mouth and my tongue are the worst. It's like a raw feeling. And the little bumps we all have on our tongue (I dont know what they are exactly called) have been swelling. Thanks! Im anemic also.

  1. sometimes
  2. its more likely you got pregnant because because your mouth and tongue were sore :)
  3. its called herpes
  4. Are you on prenatal vitamins yet? Sometimes this can be a B vitamin deficiency. You should start prenatal vitamins
  5. If you are asking if this is a pregnancy symptom, no. I wouls say it is something you are eating. Acidics can do that to you.
  6. i encourage you get get checked to see if you need pre-natal care. your diet will be very important and it is possible you are deficient in some vitamins or minerals.
  7. the only reason to know your pregnant is that your fat and you will eat anything and everything
  8. 1. Find out if you're really pregnant. Go buy an EPT 2. It could be several things --- Anemia, Oral Thrush,Glossitis.
  9. well you should test first to see if you are.... and you should be takin vitamins to make sure your getting all the nutrients. im not sure whats causing that but i didnt get that since ive been pregnant... only a watery mouth. if this countiues see your doctor about it.
  10. take from an ole granny that birth 5 kids, anything is possible when you are pregnant. you are eliminating a lot of water all the time and you maybe losing potassium in your urine. the doctor can test you for chemical amounts in your blood. make a list of questions and always consult your doctor before doing anything. just a phone call might answer your questions (make the list first).
  11. The same thing happened to me...it felt like you burned yourself with hot food? Or that's what it felt like for me. I called my nurse practitioner mom and she said that it was either a vitamin deficiency, like another person suggested, or it could be a vitamin overload. Think carefully about what you're eating. You could be eating some foods rich in one particular vitamin and along with the prenatal vitamins you may be getting too much. On the flip side, if you avoid foods with a vitamin in common you could not be getting enough.
  12. Everyone is different when it comes to pregnancy. If you are pregnant, a common symptom is bleeding and inflamed gums. (I can't brush my teeth without spitting out pink toothpaste now.) Since the gums are swollen, they are likely to be a little sore. Also, hormones change a lot including taste. This could have something to do with your taste buds. Go to the doctor asap and find out for sure if you are pregnant. And don't listen to those jerks....by the way, dick is spelt with a k at the end....
