- its called a canker.. there are special mouth washes you can use to help it heal- otherwise, you have to wait it out
- It's most likely an inflamed taste bud. It should go away on its own in a few days. Don't worry, it's not caused by any disease, these just happen from time to time.
- Yes, you can have a cold sore on you're tongue. And some times small pimple like things on you're tongue can be caused by a virus.
- believe it or not, my parents use to call them "lie bumps",,,but some say it comes from eating too much of a salty or sweet candy, i mean i love now laters(kits) as some call them.. esp strawberry, after about 2 or 3 packs back to back, i'll have a pimple on my tongue for about 2 days...peanuts does it to me sometimes too.
- Yep.You picked up that virus by kissing someone who has a cold sore.get a mouth wash and stop kissing so much...
- Look here. but i think its a canker sore.>>>Canker sores, also called mouth ulcers>>http://www.babycenter.com/0_canker-sores_1464984.bc http://www.tonguepimples.com/knowledgebase/browse/2/bumpsontongue.html
- If it is on your tongue it is most likely a canker sore, and not a cold sore. These painful sores inside the mouth may be triggered by stress, injury, nutritional deficiencies, menstruation or genetic factors. They usually clear up in one to two weeks. http://www.ehow.com/how_3069_treat-canker-sores.html Here are a few informative links about cold sores. http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/tc/cold-sores-topic-overview http://kidshealth.org/kid/ill_injure/aches/cold_sores.html http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/imagepages/9325.htm
