Strange bump under tongue?
I have this weird bump under my tongue. Its the same color as the rest of my flesh but its a raised spot. It also had a few little white dots on it after I put peroxide on it. I hope this isn't too vague to tell what it is but I can't really describe it any better. also I forgot to say that its soft and I can move it with my tongue by move it I mean it isn't hard or anything. and it doesn't hurt.

- go to a doctor (: that would probably be the best thing to do. oh yeah i like cheese (:
- Is it hard or soft does it move or stay in place??? It could be a start of a canker sore. Did you just get in the last few days?? If so try a vitamin Spelling ??? called lyzine ask pharmacist. try that for a week if not go to you DDS
- My little brother had a bump under his tongue too.. it had to be removed...my suggestion is to go see a doctor..they will help you find a solution--like they always do :]
- Is it a cankersore? Does it hurt? Or anything?
- what do you mean you can move it? you need to go to ur dentist they'll be able to tell you if you need to go see a oral surgeon. certain types of oral cancer can start like this.
- maybe ur dumped it out lol
- I get a bump under my tongue once in a while... it gets big then goes away and comes back every once in a while... like a cyst or something. anyway the dentist said it's nothing to be worried about... not sure if this helps. Kinda gross I know!!!
- It sounds like an enlarged salivary duct or quite possibly a normal salivary duct. Either way, you should call your dentist and have them take a look at it as soon as possible (especially if it is new). They will be able to identify it as soon as they see it.
