Weird bump??
I have one of those weird bumps on the end of my tongue (feels like a raised taste bud) and it really starting to get irritated. It has spread into 3 or 4 little bumps and they hurt too. Can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them please?

- Sound like canker sores. Avoid citrus, salt and sugar for a couple of days and they'll go away.
- sounds like a canker sore. not much you can do, just leave it alone, and see your doctor for medicine.
- its a burnt taste bud. they hurt but they go away. try waiting untill your food cools down before eating it. hope this helps.
- it might be a canker soar. if it is you can put hydrogen peroxide on it or salt to make it smaller...............the salt hurts!
- This can happen after eating something really sour or spicy, it's just an inflamed taste bud. It also could be something more severe, like if you have herpes, it could of spread to your tongue, and that's normal.
- you might want to go see a doctor about that b/c you might have gotten something. My mother once had hand to hoof and it started with a few bumps in the mouth. and then it was similar to chicken pox.
- my mom used to call them "lie bumps" (like if you lied you'd get the nasty bump on your tongue).. take a nail clipper, sterilize it with rubbing alcohol, and NIP the "lie bump" off at the tongue level.
- Salt water will help don't drink it just get a mouth full swish it around and spit. It will help a lot.
- It could be a canker sore..don't eat sodium cloride. Drink cold icy water or italian ice..It helps me
- i've had this. stop messing with it && buy orajel or something like that to put on it. i used to get this as a little kidd. they can get so much worse && long lasting. by a paste to coat the bump at your local drug store it will also numb the pain. dont mess with it && apply as needed. i had a problem with rubbing it on my teeth. yea its weird but do like i said and it schould be fine in a few days. good luck. :]]
