Tongue Pimples
What could be causing burning on the tip of my tongue. ? It started when I had 3 upper teeth ext?
I have little white , looks like pimples on it also. I am really worried and the dentist cannot seem to get to the bottom of it. What kind of specialist should I consult with.? I had 3 teeth extracted 4 months ago and that is when it started. The oral surgeon put me to sleep. Upper teeth they were. It feels like I have an infection or a cold. Could it be CANCER of the tongue ? Please respond . Thank you.

- Two words: Sue dentist. 96% This COULD be the use of unsanitary intruments of dentistry. 3% This could be a rare side effect after an extraction, but I don't see how it could get on the tongue, and tongue only. 1% You had oral sex!! - just a guess but have you noticed that you are running your tong over the place of the extraction? sounds like you are, this is common as your tong will find it an intresting place to fiddle around
- First, don't worry, it is most probably not cancer. It is fungus. What you need to do is to get a mouthwash that kills fungus from your drugstore. After 2-3 days use, your tongue should be back to normal. I had a friend who had the same thing after a surgery. It could be because of insufficient sterilisation.
