Tongue Pimples

How do you treat "lie bumps"?

So i have about six (6) little white bumps on the tip and edges of my tongue. And they hurt like hell. I had one early yesterday morning and now i have six! How do you get rid of them and what causes it? Can alot of salt cause them? I get them regularly btw.

  1. I cut them off. It seriously hurts for a couple of minutes but then all the pain goes away.
  2. It could be a localized infection, it could be too many acidic foods, you could even be rubbing your tongue against sharp points in your teeth while you sleep. Best advice I can give is that most oral sores clear up in 7-10 days, if you're not feeling even slightly better in a week make an appointment with a dentist to get checked out. In the mean time avoid acidic foods (Tomatoes, ketchup, OJ, Citrus, etc.) and salt, and don't use products like listerine (They could just aggrivate the sores.)
  3. hey those do be really painful, bonjela is your best bet, its a clear gel that stings for a bit but it soothe the pain after about a minute or so, biting your tounge, stress, and diet could be the contributer to these spots, in my opinion, plenty of oranges i say
  4. Been lyin alot have we???? I to have had these. What i have been doing is bitting them off or get some finger nail clippers and "clip" them off, its going to hurt like heck but they bumps will feel better, also get a glass and pour hot water to about where u can stand it and pour in some salt and gurgle it around in your mouth for a couple of seconds and spit it out, do this about 2 to 3 times that day and they bumps should go away the next day and they will heal, just to remind you, it will burn. Im not sure what causes lie bumps, but its just when your tastes buds become irritated or somthin like that. I got this from my mom when i had them and it seems to work. Hope it helps.
  5. Stop having all that oral sex!!!!!!!!
