Tongue Pimples

This is gross, but i need help!!! My tongue is getting small bumps?

all over it. Like a million small bumps, kind of like "lie" bumps. They are also on the back of my throat and are irritating it. Also, my glands are swollen in the back, one worse than the other. This is like the fourth day and they are progressively getting worse. It hurts so bad that i can not eat. Also my tongue is swollen and i can't close my mouth anymore. I heard that it could be a yeast infection in my mouth, which i had never heard of before. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?? If anyone knows what it is please let me know. Thank you!!

  1. It sounds like something I get when I eat anything with artificial cinnamon flavouring (gum, cinnamon hearts, etc) I used to tell people that those things really hurt my mouth but they wouldn't take me that seriously. It is awful: I get bumps all over the inside of my mouth, can't taste anything, eating anything hurts incredibly, swollen mouth, hard to talk/swallow, and it lasts for 3 days- a week. Finally I found out what it is: an allergic reaction called contact stomatitis. I posted a reliable source in the source section below so that you can figure out if that's what you have too. If so, avoid putting the chemical that's causing it in your mouth.
  2. Go to the doctor, Whether you get a correct answer on here or not we cant treat you! So i would go to the doctor before it gets progressivly worse!
  3. I have had a yeast infection in my throat before but it wasn't anything like that. However, I have heard of some yeast infections like that. It doesn't sound like strep that's for sure. If you are this bad off you really need to go to the doctor. It also could be an allergic reaction to something.
  4. Dont be panic over it. It may be an allergic reaction. Also may be due to yeast. First thing you want to see adoctor. Some types or Hepes also show such symptoms and can be cured with medication. Don' t go for opinion from people as diffrent persons have different diseases expressed with the same symptoms. so first consult your General Physician.
  5. Sounds like Thrush, which is a yeast infection. need to be treated with antfungel medication. Get to the doctor ASAP
