Tongue Pimples
why do I get a bump on my tongue sometime?
I know tounge bumps are not lie bumps or some people would never get rid of them. Fruit and fruit juice cause blisters on my lips so i seldome have it. I started taking vitimin c&d with minerals, could that posibile be the cause of my toung bump? I,ve been eating liver cheese sandwitches, could that cause the bump? my beverage choice is water, sweet milk and butter milk. I don't eat many or much sweets. If i sound like a health nut ,I;m not, I just like what is good for me. weired hu.

- Canker sores can be caused by sour (acidic) foods. Maybe try to cut down on those. If you don't eat much you may have a bacterial infection in your mouth. Might want to get it checked out. I had one before and I got one of those but it was mostly a mossy substance that was growing on my tongue and I could actually pick off in pieces.....gross I know. I think its cankers though.
- My doctor told me when I get them it is from the acid in foods or the salt.
- I had a Dr. tell me once a long time ago , that those were inflamed taste buds. due to a multitude of reasons, or a combination of those
- It could be from a food allergie. like a really minor one. For instance every time be friend would eat fish or anything fried in the same oil as fish she would get these little pink bumps on her tounge and inside her mouth. so you might want to see if there is anything you have been eating that you may be allergic to
- Are you talking like a tiny one, or like canker sore sized? The tiny ones are actually your taste buds. You either cut it somehow, or irritated it. They don't harm you, just inconvenience you. And liver isn't that good for you. Organ meats have highly concentrated levels of cholestrol that are actually bad for your heart. I have to moderate my diet because I have heart disease, and this was one of the first things the doctor told me. My husband refuses to give up his chicken livers and hearts [yuck], but I just thought I'd let you know.
- man i do too sweets give it to me and pickles there is a certain acid in it .. i also get alot of cold sores for all my life almost.
