  1. They did that for you, because it could be any form of Cytomegla Virus. That family includes: Herpes, Coxsackie, Measles, Chicken Pox, Shingles which are Chicken Pox, Mono etc.. So, if you have Coxsackie, which your symptoms indicate you do, they can't really do anything about it. (This is what I'm deducing, so don't take my word for it). Coxsackie is what causes type 1 diabetes in children and can also cause Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia etc... No, it does not mean you will get these diseases, because if your immune system is able to keep up with the virus, then you will beat it. All doctors can do is treat symptoms if there is a diagnosis, so they really can't do anything but wait until you have to see them for something. However, I highly recommend that you start thinking about your diet, and really understand that you are what you eat in order to support your immune system. For example, just stand at the check out line of a grocery store and look at what people look like... Then, look in the grocery cart. Take care of yourself.
  2. There have been cases where oral herpes can cause blisters on the tongue.
  3. it does sound like coxsakie virus, both of my kids have had it. It is spread very easy and can be as mild as one or two pistules in the mouth or as severe as hard to swallow, can aslo spread to the hands and feet and will weep. Is contagious while weeping or if have fever. Also may also cause joint pain. It is a simple virus that has to run it's course. My kids Dr. said to use magic mouthwash. It is a mix of half Benadryl and malox that you swish in your mouth every four hours to releive symptoms. Aka as Hand foot and mouth disease, not the same thay affects cows.
