Does anyone get pimples on their tongue?
I have these all the time. Usually one or two at a time, but when they are gone, another pops up in another spot. Does anyone know what causes this?

- I usually get one or two every now and then. Sometimes those are called apthos ulcers and you can go to the doctor and get medicine for it.
- I don't think they are called pimples, but I think they are like sores from foods that your tastebuds don't agree with. I have one right now on my tounge, and it hurts.
- nope never herd of getting a pimple on a tongue sorry
- Never heard of it. Are you sure they are pimples? You may need to get that check out.
- They're not pimples....they are ulcers (Or swollen taste buds)....and yes, many people get them......
- umm if you are talking about canker sores..then they are very common and people tend to get them all the time..especially if you injure your tongue by burning it or biting it on accident...i found a site you can look at maybe it will help...
- if you do it is probably a lie bump dumb @ss
- TASTBUDS!!!! (*IDIOT* 100%)
- This is a vague description of your symptoms and thus your condition cannot be properly ascertained by the answerer's. I suggest you go to Webmd.com or some other similar website. May you have canker sores or inflamed taste buds, but I don't know.
- Yes, I've gotten lumps on my tongue. But - they're not pimples. There are no sebaceous glands on you're tongue, so they can't actually be pimples.
- You have issues going on in your stomach. Get some ORGANIC vinegar! 1 teaspoon every few hours, you will feel better almost immediately, bump on tongue will disappear! Don't hesitate! It Works!!!
- I doubt they are blemishes (as your tongue has no 'pores' like skin does), however it could be aggrivated or infected taste buds - or possibly even a form of thrush (a fungal infection which can cause white spots on the tongue, inside of the mouth and gums...as well as discomfort). I would bring this up to your doc next time you are in the office, it's not usual for you to have this occuring on a regular basis.
- you muist mean herpes
- it is not pimples they are your taste buds they are supposed to do that
- see your dentist for a definitive diagnosis.
