I sometimes get these little white bumps on my tongue. What are they?
When it happens, it's usually only one or two. What causes these and how do I prevent them from coming back? They look like a white head only on your tongue.

- I THINK that they're overgrown taste buds. The only way i have ever heard of getting rid of them is preventing bacteria build up in your mouth by brushing (and flossing) more often. I hope i was a little bit of a help!
- probly canker sores. they go away after a few days, but theres not a way to prevent them
- Sounds like canker sores to me. Don't eat as much sugar and you can heal them with lots of milk or anything high in calcium.
- if the bumps also make your breath smell bad then it might be thrush! Yes Thrush! Adults get it too! The simple fix for this is to eat yogurt at least 2 times a day. The live cultures in the yogurt will kill the fungus or thrush and make it go away on it's own!
