Red bumps on side of tongue..?

I have like, four red bumps on the side of my tongue, and they're very painful. My gums are swollen, and I think I might be cutting my wisdom teeth. Someone help?

  3. maybe ur taste buds are aching or somethin. go see a doctor!
  4. Wisdom teeth don't grow on the side of your tongue. My guess is canker sores.
  5. have you been eating cough drops or chewing gum? try drinking lots of milk.. DONT eat/drink ANY citrus it will make it worse
  6. I would advise going to your dentist they can help you with whatever is going on! Good luck I am sorry you are going through this!
  7. umm ur getting a sore throat i just checked it. can i get best answer pleeze im new to answers
  8. Well it can be a billion things, from a simple irritatrion to an STD FYI Syphilisis starts out as bumbs in your mouth. So rather than putting your trust 100% in ther general public here go to the doctor.
  9. Some times when you eat too much sugar or sweets, your tounge will get little bumps on it. *Old History Lore* Moms used to call these kinds of bumps "Liars Bumps." In order to get their kids to tell them the truth. They would scare them by telling them that these painful bumps would appear if they were telling a lie. I hope that helped.
  10. Too much spicy food will do that!
  11. you may have some olsars... they are painful.. they arent a big deal though and go away after time, although i am not sure if that is it... i would call your dentist and explain what it is like and they will tell you what to do.
