How long would it take for my tongue to heal?
I bit my tongue twice when I was eating and now my tongue has a bump on the on the side and dried blood. It hurts a little bit. Normally I don't bite my tongue when I did and I bit hard.....

- Dont worry, nothing serious. It will take a couple of days to heal. Dont be hypondriac.
- I would gargle with warm salt water twice a day. I've bitten my tongue too, and I can imagine the pain you're going through. You should see your doctor ASAP and see what he/she says. Good luck! (maybe antibiotics could help?)
- well when i got a tongue ring out in it took a mater of a week to heal for the most part
- If you want it to heal more quickly rinse you mouth with warm salt water a few times a day. You could also get an antiseptic rinse - such as Gly-Oxide at a pharmacy.
