Tongue Pimples
How do I know that my tongue is infected?
I got my tongue pierced about a week ago...and I noticed that in the front of the piercing i have like a pimple but its not one obviously....I dont have any puss comming out of it either....i clean it at least 2 times a day with listerean.......am I infected or not?

- Leave it alone... my nose did the exact same thing. Just be REALLY careful with it and it SHOULD go away. But no promises. Good luck :)
- No...signs of infection would be red, warm and tender to touch tounge. Another major sign will be puss yellow or white leaking out of your tounge. So no its not infected. Yes keep cleaning it, but don't mess with it to much or it will get infected.
- thats prob the skin from yer tounge....some white goo may come out thats natural as long as u rinse with salt water or moutrh wash often and EVERYTIME after eating drinking or smoking you'll be fine.....try not to play with it too much at first
- the same thing happened with mine. its supposed to happen. just keep taking care of it and you'll be fine.

- Stop using Listerine....Use a mouth wash with no alcohol in it. Or mix half of Listerine with half water. Do Sea Salt Soaks. It will help tons. One teaspoon to one cup of warm water.
