- Those are small "sites" where tongue activity is going on. They say lying will cause them, but really its just little things going on in your tongue. Its like drinking hot hot chocolate and it kind of "burns off" your taste buds. Your tongue is a muscle with taste sensors, so certain foods can agitate it, making cells try to repair the damage.(its not something to worry about). They go away in a few days, but if they get worse or stay, see a doctor. Your body is constanly repairing itself, when damages appear, the cells fix it up. This means that little bumps and all kinds of other things can appear, but it just means you are heathy because you can fight. Dont worry unless it worsens or stays. If you try and "hype up" to get some adrenaline flowing, hundreds of bumps appear because your cells are getting energy and go wild. If you havent done this before,(the hot chocolate burn and "energy bumps") try them and watch em leave in a while.
