Tongue Pimples

I have a sore on the side of my tongue, what do you think it is?

I have a sore on the side of my tongue towards that back and it hurts quite a bit; it's about the size of a large pimple. It has also taken some of my taste away. I can also feel it down to the side of my throat. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

1. I would get it checked immediately... I had one once however mine was towards the front of my tongue -- apparently it was because of a food reaction, but I treated it and soon it was better ... The sore is probably not so big - it only feels big because it's in your mouth... I would check it anyways though
2. Dear.... I am surprising why you are asking this health problem here, it is more safe to visit a special doctor to discuss the problem. Any quick investigation make it easier and safer to resolve the problem, don't worry to see the doctor.
3. could be a mouth ulcer. try rinsing your mouth with some warm salt water several times a day. if not better in a few days go to your doctor
