Tongue Pimples

why do i get 3 bumps on the right side of my tongue and 3 on left side?

They dont hurt but one of them does on my right side. What could this be. I know I dont have any stds cuz ive been checked what else could it b. I smoke ciggs but not weed. Is it just my taste buds swelling like it does on some people?
