Tongue Pimples
Does putting Epsom salt on your tongue and taking a sip of water every day help to clear your skin?
My grandmother told me this is what she did as a child and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this method and how it works. I have a scattering of pimples on my forehead and cheeks, by the way. Thanks!

- Hello there, Although it sounds like and great idea, it's probably an old wives tale. Acne is caused by an infection of the hair follicle. Usually sebum, which is the oil on your skin, builds up after your pore becomes clogged. P-Acne bacteria then feed off the sebum and create a small infection. The only way to get rid of the p-acne bacteria is to fight them with Antibiotics. I would go to your doctor and see if they will prescribe you something like Minocycline or a topical cream like clindsol. Hopefully this helps, Be well, DD
