Tongue Pimples
Before i go to the doctor cuz I think i have a strep throat (big red bumps on tongue)what should i do?
i have big red bumps on my tongue and my tongue is yellow i also have a runny nose im going to the doctors tomorrow today and tomorrow what should i do ? like should i drink lots of water and tea or what? i already drank lemon,ginger and peppermint tea i ate halls but i didnt drink lots of water

- Well since tea is primarily water, you're getting your water right there. Do whatever soothes your throat.
- You should check out your tonsils with a flashlight. It's pretty cool. Typically, your tonsils will have white stuff all over them.
- if you truly have big red bumps on the tongue, you are most likely looking way at the back of the tongue. These are normal structures called "circumvalate papillae". They are not caused by a disease. If you really look carefully, you'll see that they are arranged in a "V" pattern, with the point of the V pointing backward, towards your throat. Besides this there really are no things that would cause red bumps on the tongue. CAncer would be a single bump, likely ulcerated. Papilloma could present with small bumps - usually on the front tip of the tongue, or underneath the tongue. It's worth having the doc take a look, but you are likely to be very reassured.
