Tongue Pimples

 

My child is sick. she had developed red & white bumps on the tip of her tongues and sides also.......?

my daughter is sick. she has developed white and red patchy bumps on the tip and sides of her tongue, she also has swallon glands, a cough, throat hurting, had a fever for a day and still feels warms but no fever. my concern are the red and white patch bumps on the tip and sides of her tongue. any idea what it could be?

  1. Concerned, It sounds like Strep Throat. You can read more information on this, but there is a test the doctors do to check for it. They swab the throat and test the saliva. Many times the infection results in white pus filled bumps in different places on the tongue or back of throat. It can be quite serious, so I would take her in to a medi clinic for this test. IF it is Strep, she will need to go on anti-biotics. If untreated SOME people can have a reaction with their heart or other organs. It is one of those things I always checked for when my kids were sick. If it isn't Strep, it's a virus and then you just have to wait it out. Hope this helps!
