Tongue Pimples

Has anyone ever had (what feels like) pimples on the tongue?

I get them every so often, usually on the tip of my tongue. They are small and white, almost like a pimple. When you apply pressure to them, it hurts. After doing some research, I'm all the more confused. Are they ulcers, or pimples, or something else... I don't know. As much information on it as possible would be greatly appreciated. I especially want to know how to prevent them. Thanks in advance.

  1. my tongue feels like that when i have burnt it on food.
  2. Hey , it happens when you eat to much salty foods like popcorn at the movies or spicy foods etc . Goes away after 3-10 days if you don't bite or irritate it with more spicy foods
  3. I do not think there is a way to prevent them, but something that really helps is putting baking soda on your tongue and then apply lemon to it. it my burn a little but it helps.
  4. They sound an awful lot like canker sores. I get them occasionally. Supposedly they are the result of stress. My step mom says green grapes are the best natural cure. Her father gets them often and he always eats green grapes to get rid of them.
