Tongue Pimples

hi,im 21 yrs old & got my tongue pierced saturday.I have a little bump ech side of the ring is that normal?

1. Yeah its probably just swelling.

3. Is the bump have some yellowish liquid inside? If yes, it probably get infection. Better go see doctor to get some medication.
4. I've had mine pierced for almost 10 years and I can remember the healing process. for about two weeks the whole area surrounding the barbell was swollen and raised. I, of course, "used" my new jewelery prior to it healing and feared I had done some damage with the bump being there. It went away quickly. It was actually the easiest piercing I ever healed. After 16, I've got this down. I have a long enough tongue to get it double pierced but my corporate job hates the 1 I already have so I stop at 16. Good luck and enjoy!
